I dream of you in colours that don't existRight now my head is pounding, and while taking pain killers would be a valid option it would also be escape. Do I really want to escape from this moment? I don't remember a time when I was struggling this much to preserve what I have, but time is creeping up on my heels and soon it is going to trip me up. This needs to stop. I'm reaching for the pills but I pause. I still can't make that decision so crucial to the way I look at what's in front of me. Everyone tells me to live in the moment, well what if the inevitability of what is to come sends sharp shards of emotion through your heart? What then? I don't know. I'm going to make some tea.

Three months to my ninth birthday I found myself over three thousand miles from home. But for me home has never simply one place. Home has always been everywhere and for as long as I can remember, it has been my utmost desire to get there. Together with my family we began our journey covering our native land in every direction.
